Here's an easy way to play Gmod 9 with css or something other source game and here is some links to gmod 9 mods and other stuff.

6. FIRST! You need Garrys mod 9.4

• Go to http://halflife2.filefront.com/file/HalfLife2Garrys_Mod;50929x but if the link is dead and u are helpless then go to google and scearch install gmod 9 and click some of the links.

• Install it to C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\SourceMods

1. Here can be many ways but now i show u two ways.

First the well known one:

• Go to Sourcemods folder

• Find gameinfo.txt file

• Delete all the fuckin text and replace it with this:

"GameInfo" { game "Garry's Mod 9" title "Garry's Mod" title2 "Nine"

"developer" "TEAM GARRY" "developer_url" "http://gmod.garry.tv/" "icon" "v"

hiddenmaps { "testspeakers" 1 "test_hardware" 1 }

FileSystem { SteamAppId 215 // This will mount all the GCFs we need (240=CS:S, 220=HL2). ToolsAppId 211 // Tools will load this (ie: source SDK caches) to get things like materials\debug, materials\editor, etc.

Now when you restart your steam, you will have a shortcut called Garry's Mod 9 in the Games.

The other way: I did need this because a very rare problem and I don't think that everybody need this but I tell you anyway. [ YOU WILL NEED A SOURCE GAME FOR THIS WAY TO GET GMOD WORK!!]

• First right click any sourcegame and then click preporties

• Click "Set launch options"

• Write: -console -game "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods\gmod9"

You can copypaste that if u did install gmod in right folder what I told you.

I did need that way because gmod9 in steam can't connect to master server I don't know why.

EDIT: 4. Installing new features

• Go that link above

• Install example Gmod +

• Open the Gmod + file and copypaste or move all stuff to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods\gmod9\mods-modcache

• Thats for was for mods

• If you want to install models then download something model

• Read readme if it is there

• Copy all files to your "Mods" folder

• In your model file what you downloaded should be a spawncode.txt or something

• Go to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods\gmod9\mods-modcache\settings\menu_props

• Copy paste the spawncode any text document in the menu_props and it will be there when you go to gmod

1. WARNING!!

The gmod 9 servers has a LOT OF viruses. I had many viruses from gmod server but I have firewall nah nah nah, but its still dangerous.
